May 2023 — I’ve kept an eye on those budding yuccas I mentioned last week as they start to bloom. Next week at this time they’ll probably be long past their prime.

I used the yuccas for inspiration for a little side project. In addition to drawing, painting, monoprinting (Landscapes in the Abstract opens in early June!), I’ve been practicing my movie-making skills, though calling it ‘movie-making’ is a bit of a stretch. Here’s a time-lapse video I put together from my daily documenting of the yuccas.
